Meat Processing Plant Mokobody sp. Z o.o. in Mokobody was established in December 2008.
The plant activity is connected with buying up alive beef, slaughtering and selling beef quarters, skins and plucks
The beginnings of the company being reach back to the eighties and nineties of the past century. The first owner, senior Jan Zygmunt Podniesiński, was struggling against all odds of market economy, benefiting from the access to basic facilities. Without those tools, our company couldn?t exist today.
It took around 20 years to change the primitive slaughterhouse into a modern plant. Our firm measures up to all the EU sanitary and veterinary standards and gives a guarantee of the best product quality. On the turn of 2003-2004, the plant was rebuilt and modernized. Now we are proud of new technology, the highest quality of machinery, educated and trained staff and, most of all, high hygiene in our plant. We are able to live up to all clients? expectations about merchandise quality. It puts us on top of the companies of this branch in Poland. We implemented the HACCP/ ISO 22000:2005 system confirmed with the certificate and got an export permission, that enables us to sell our products mostly to European Countries.
Our production and sales are growing every year, which gives our company the opportunity to keep on developing We are planning to expand our plant with a cold store and sewage-farm. Since 2010 we are able to kill animals in Halal ritual.
